Gary, my Ever-Ready 150 is fantastic! Anyone who has a C-40 brush body type knows that they feel like a toy, very light and fragile. My GDCarrington custom is the complete opposite, clean, sleek, heavy, fashionable and a lather monster. I am very grateful and honored to have a GDCarrington custom brush.

Planned Tabac Tuesday Gillette Fatboy Personna blue blade Pacific Shave Co PSO Vie-Long 14080 brush Tabac shave soap Body Shop Arber aftershave balm Tabac Eau De Cologne If I remember in the morning I'm going to mix Tabac shaving cream and Tabac soap for an Uber lather. My uber lather was whipped up with ease. This soap is without a doubt my favorite soap in my den. It explodes with a thick and slick lather and the scent actually lasts post shave, where most other soaps I use, the scent is washed away with the rinse. Great 2 pass shave no touched ups required.

TUESDAY Evening Shave for Tomorrow A pleasant evening shave —which I probably could have skipped but opted for the enjoyment of another relaxing nighttime shave. Some recent brush discussion prompted me to use the Semo 83o boar which has always been a good performer—and one of the brush 'bargains' out there! I put it to the test lathering The Fat and the Semo was up to the task, yielding tremendous lather. Have a great Tuesday all!

4/14/15 Prep: Hot shower Lather: St. James Mandarin & Patchouli (face lathered) Brush: TGN synthetic Razor: New SC Blade: Rapira Stainless (2) Post: Old Spice I'm not certain that I've every face lathered with this cream. It took quite a while to get a decent lather on my face - I'm guessing around 3-4 minutes. Back to the bowl tomorrow because that only takes about 30 seconds to be ready to paint on.
6/8 Clauss TOBS Lavender Soap homemade boar Nice shave this morning. I found out that I have a tendonitis in my shoulder yesterday. It makes using the lathe a real issue but it bothers me the worst in bed when trying to sleep. It aches like a bad tooth so sleeping has become difficult. Well, have a good one.
Another thing I should mention is that the Cryogen soap is rather thirsty, but it's very easy to lather up.
