ask your wife to rub it down with manteca de ubre, it's a linament originally made for a cow's udder, but rubbed into joints and strained muscles, it feels nice.
    hope you get some rest.

    Tuesday Shave 04/14/2015

    Prep: Hot shower, PSO
    Razor: Merkur 34C
    Blade: Gillette Nacet Stainless (3)
    Brush: Omega 80080 Boar Brush
    Soap: Proraso White (croap?)
Post: Cold rinse, Alum Block, Witch Hazel, Proraso White ASB

First time with the Proraso White soap/croap. It performed a lot better than I thought it would and gave me a nice tingle from the slight menthol in it. Definitely keeping this one in my rotation.

Prep: Stirling Oat Honey & Shea Butter Bath Soap
Razor: Gillette Black Beauty U2 (5)(3)
    Blade: Astra SP (1)
Brush: Chopped Made Rite Finest Badger
    Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
    Post: Barbasol Pacific Rush

Two pass shave. Felt like being mild today so I went 5 & 3 on the adjustable. After chopping the mutton chops I've had to change how I shave. Shaving my jaw feels so strange. One DFS.

    Stirling Frozen Tundra
    Merkur 34C w/Gillette 7 O'clock SP (4)
Cold rinse, alum, Stirling Glacial Wintergreen Witch Hazel, 444 Balm, Osage Rub

On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate the coldness of this shave a 5. I've got to get ahold of some of that Cryo whats-its-called that Crackstar recently reviewed.

Cryogen. Never tried the Frozen Tundra but I heard it's plenty cold. But this Cryogen is merciless. It's not a soap which has a normal menthol effect.

    Dove Men Face Wash
    ARKO Extra Performance
    Jayaruh WC4 HMB
    Schick M2 Adjustable
    Personna Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva

The ARKO Extra Performance Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC4 High Mountain Badger Brush. Two passes with my Schick M2 Adjustable razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Muhle R89 head on a Maggard MR1 handle (3rd time using)
    Blade: Platinum Lux (5)
Soap: Arko Red tub (1st time trying)
    Bowl: VDH
    Brush: Tweezerman
Post: Gentleman Jon Alum block (not in pic)

Preshave was just face wash with warm water and post shave was rinse with warm water then some cold water splashes and pat dry! Added the Alum block today!

Razor: Decided to tryout the R89 head on the MR1 handle as I have had the head around for awhile now from a trade deal. It matched up with a Platinum Lux produces a great shave. I was very impressed with the shave and combination so far. The razor does NOT seem like it is too mild. The way the head is designed it actually seems to show more blade than my ATT M1 and I really like that!

Blade: This is my fifth shave with it and it still feels sharp so I am liking this blade alot. I like it just as much if not more than my go-to Astra SP.

Soap: This is the first time I used the Arko in the Red tub. To me it actually lathers easier than the stick. Very easy and quick! Just load some on the brush and face lather it in. I had enough on the brush for the three passes plus a little left over. My go-to in the Arko stick but after today, I may use this puck up and smash my sticks into it so I can keep using it this way!!

Comments: Shave was very good, a DFS all the way and dang close to a BBS in most areas even the jawline and neck. No nicks or irritation based on the Alum block feedback. The blade still feels sharp enough to use in tomorrows shave for a 6th day but I will change it out anyway so I dont want to chance it causing a bad shave!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out!

    Thx.
