Hey John welcome from England If you have any problems don't be afraid to shout, you've stumbled upon a great bunch of guys, they've helped me to turn shaving from a painful chore to a fantastic enjoyable experience.
Hi john. Welcome aboard. Another hello from UK. I started with the Muhle and it is a fantastic piece of kit. The maca root wasn't for me, but it's undoubtedly a fantastic cream for most folk. Good start, hope your enjoying it. May I ask where in oz are you from?
Welcome. If you like, you can go over to the new roster and tell us a bit more about yourself. http://theshaveden.com/forums/index.php?threads/The-Shave-Den-Roster.44531/
Hey crackstar, my father used to use this cream along with palmolive and he loved it...I still remember the rich lather he would get.
to TSD "Aussierazor" Glad you've found us all the way from downunder and I hope we can make your shaving experience even better! Your kit sounds like a winner. Just remember YMMV with many things especially blades. So get a large blade sample pack to find which blade/blades work best for you and not what's most popular or costs the least or most. That said I use a bestshave #6 horse(?) hair brush. They are very inexpensive and mine works great!
A huge thanks to all for the warm welcome...as mentioned you guys made me see the light and ditch the cartridges and the goo from a can...i should've listened to my father when he suggested I use a badger brush with palmolive cream but instead I tried to convert him - unsuccessfuly I might add! Its only taken me about 25 years to see that he was right.
