    Prep: Hot shower, PSO
    Razor: Merkur 34C
    Brush: Omega 13109 Pure Badger
    Blade: Super Max Platinum (2)
    Cream: Kiss My Face Lavender
Post: Cold rinse, Alum block, Witch Hazel, Aqua Velva Ice Sport

Decent shave today. Unfortunately, it took 4 passes + touch up to get it where I wanted it to be. Slight pickup of irritation from the alum, but not too bad.
I put away the blade in my blade bank. I don't think I'll be using the Super Max Plat again.

    Razor: Schick G1
    Blade: Vintage Schick
    Brush: Custom Silvertip
Cream: Local Gent Shaving Co-Bay Rum
    After: Pinaud-Lime Sec
It's official Lime Sec will be going into the regular rotation. I like it and SWMBO likes it so a bottle is on the way.

The Local Gent cream was a sample I got from @Drygulch and I found it to be a very good cream with a nice scent.

    Cella
    Omega Pro 98 boar brush
    Schick M2 Adjustable
    Personna Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva

The Cella Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Omega Pro 98 boar brush. Two passes with my Schick M2 Adjustable razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

As if my shaves the last couple of days weren't frigid enough, (oh yes they were!) the one I'll be taking tomorrow will be even more frigid. Yes, the Cryogen soap has become the Supreme King of Freeze and it leads the Glacial soaps by about a half length. The lather of this soap works up so easily and the skincare is also terrific - in fact I'm really impressed by it. The Gold Bond/Penguin duo are so wonderfully icy as well. My Personna blade is still performing at about 80% which is fabulous for its sixth upcoming shave, and I have a very tough beard. ;) :D

Well, talk about procrastinating, I'm posting my 8 a.m. shave at 11:30 at night
    20150417_131218 (2) (1024x768).jpg And it was a doozie
Brush: extra heavy Carrington Made Rite with a TGN Finest fan knot. Works wonders on even hard soap
    Soap: The Fat, bowl lathered
Razor: my birth year and quarter vintage Gillette Super Speed Red Tip
Blade: voted by this consumer guide as a best buy, Rapira Swedish Supersteel
    A/S Balm: Castle Forbes Lavender
Three passes, no touch ups, no blood in the slightest.
I can't wait for tomorrow to do it again.

I have 4 of the items you have there VDH bowl, Gentleman Jon, Cella, and the tweezerman brush! All are good items to keep in any den in my opinion and they dont break the bank. I love coming back to my VDH bowl and Tweezerman brush, it takes me back 4 years ago when i first started getting into wet-shaving!

Yeah, I like those items too! I mainly use the VDH bowl to soak the brush. I got the Tweezerman brush from the Nationwide Tour and I like it alot. Got the Cella in a soap trade and had the Gentleman Jon but never got it out of the drawer til recently.

    Razor:1961 Flair Tip Super Speed
    Blade: Bolzano (new)
    Soap: Tiki Pumpkin Lager
    Bowl: VDH
    Brush: Tweezerman badger
    Post: Gentleman Jon Alum block

Preshave was just face wash with warm water and post shave was rinse with warm water then some cold water splashes and pat dry! I then applied the Alum block.

Razor: Tried out the 1961 Flair Tip Super Speed I just received today.

Blade: First time using this blade (came with the razor) and to tell you I cant tell you anything about it as my razor was so mild, I didnt notice the blade cutting anything!

Soap: This is the very first time trying this soap out. It's very easy to lather and gives very good protection. It also smells really good! No issues at all with it. (From the Newbie PIF here on TSD!)

Comments: Shave was good, I did manage to get a DFS but not quite a BBS. One nick and no irritation based on the Alum block feedback. For me the razor is on the pretty mild side but maybe with the blade I used, it worked okay as I didnt have to do any extra passes but a little more cleanup in chin/neck area, hence the nick!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out!

    Thx.

    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill AS

A couple of first time uses for me today. The San Antonio SS was great. The performance I expect from Stirling, and the scent is just great. It is like a unique candy, but not too sweet. A lot of fun. I also used the Glacial Lemon Chill AS for the first time. I have some Stirling Bay Rum, and this is the AS that burns the most of all of my AS, but I like it. The Glacial is no different, until that Menthol coolness kicks in. Then it is a bit of fire and ice: Fantastic! It is colder than the Osage Rub, so it moves to the top of that list. The scent is great as well. My face is still chilled.
