Poor guy is behind a few weeks. We was super cool about the situation though and offered to and mailed me my razor back. I appreciate his honesty and he is a very nice guy.

Here are a couple heads that just came back from Chris.

Are they both old Gillette Deluxe heads?

 

No one is a Deluxe and the other is an Improved. They both came from Tuckaway sets.

If I get motivated, I also have a couple Old Types plated by BRW and a LC New from Razor Emporium.

 

I should also have noted that RazorEmporium offers a volume discount if you re-plate five or more razors.
Not sure what the discount amount/percentage is.

 

I'm thinking of getting one or two done at my local electroplaters. Not being in CONUS, it wouldn't make sense to ship it to the companies mentioned in here. Some lovely results though.

I assume the silver plating is more expensive than the nickel?
