No, the base plate is brass with chrome, and the cap is the new standard 2.0. I believe they'll be selling for $15 without a handle, or add $4 if you buy a razor and want a separate head.

A random browse in Sainsbury's, ( that's a supermarket over here) and I unexpectedly found Trueffit and Hill no10, shave cream, moisturiser, and aftershave balm and cologne all on a great offer. I'm going to pick up the shave cream and balm/ cologne tomorrow. Does anyone use either of them, if so are they any good. They're going to be £4 each. About $6. That's less than half price over here.

X2! The only thing that sucks worse than having a job is not having one. Went through this for the first time in my life at the beginning of the big recession. We all got two hours notice that our company was going out of business. It happened a week after we found out my wife was pregnant with our second child... I will be pulling for you!
