I received an interesting package from Italy today. It is my first Leresche and it has some interesting printing on it. There are two lines above the Leresche logo. The first one is French and it says, "For your beard", the second line is Italian and it says, "The sweet blade". I like this one and will shave with it tomorrow. Time for its first bath
For any questions about Leresche - Thomas who runs the Leresche-fan-site is great at replying back. I like the look of it and have never seen engravings like that. Neat!
Ooh..a Kabrand. Nice brand! Did you see the price drop on the chrome Kabrand with the very, very neat head selling on eBay? Sigh...I remember the days of eBay shopping...it's just like it was last week.....
I ended up with two. I bought one cased, and another came in a lot that I picked up at an antique store and I found a case for it on ebay for 2.99 so I snagged it. I have one unopened box of blades that will stay that way. So if I pull the trigger and shave with it, I will need to buy a few loose blades.
Received a HD Rocket in the mail today that has been in transit for quite some time. Interesting, to me, was that this is the first one that I have (I have three now...) where it says "Patent pending" on the inside and the door mechanism feels much more 'solid' and less rattling than the other HD Rockets I have. It feels like a better build quality. It's a tad dirty as you can see but seems like it should clean up just fine as there are no mechanical issues.
Not much of a haul but I picked up a bottle of Aqua Velva classic ice blue today. I've never been an aftershave kind of guy. Usually cologne. Aftershave has some nice scents and is a heck of a lot cheaper than cologne....and a nice end to a great shave.
