Prep: warm wash with castille soap
Lather: St. James of London Mandarin & Patchouli
Brush: Omega 6214 silvertip (maiden voyage)
Razor: Gillette New LC
Blade: Rapira Stainless (5)
Post: Clubman Classic Vanilla aftershave lotion
This is my first try with a badger brush and I expect there is a learning curve on making lather. I've never had cream make this much lather so quickly, but it was little light and airy on the first go. But, the shave was amazing and 2 passes later I declare a CCS.
Funny story...well, I thought it was funny...This brush and aftershave came to me from the $100 WCS gift card I received. I was showing my wife the haul and she made the appropriate cooing noises. As she inspected the brush, she asked if I had used it yet because it smelled good. Our 11 year old son, who was hovering around and inserting comments as the spirit moved him, piped up and said, "Well, its known that the badger is a good smelling animal!" Where do they come up with this stuff? Anyways, here is what $100 will buy at West Coast Shaving (minus my $8 New LC)
