Saturday morning's shaping up this way: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/SuperMax Blue day 6 Stirling Frozen Tundra SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS I haven't had the time to test-lather the Frozen Tundra soap which I received yesterday, but I trust Rod 1,000% and I'm confident that this soap will perform brilliantly for me. All I can tell is that its scent is fantastic - a combination of wintergreen, some other notes which I can't determine as well as menthol. I was told that this soap also falls into the category of face-freezing, but not to the level of a Glacial soap. After using the Glacial Spearmint this morning, my face felt frozen almost the entire morning, and some guys told me that this Frozen Tundra soap has been given a "menthol facelift." There's nothing warm about the Gold Bond moisturizer or the Aqua Velva either!

Thanks, two shaves with and am loving it. Very close, irritation free shaves have been had on both occasions.
It was a great bay rum morning. I haven't met a bay rum soap I didn't like and this one didn't disappoint.
I had the same issues with it. I went to the trouble of grating it into a mug before trying it. It is now in the bottom drawer in the back.
SOTD 4-24-15 Razor: ATT R1 head w/Bamboo handle Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword (3) Soap: Proraso White Tub Bowl: VDH Brush: Tweezerman Preshave was just face wash with warm water and post shave was rinse with warm water then some cold water splashes and pat dry! Razor: Went with the ATT R1 head set today. Very nice mid aggressive head. I have used this a few times and each time I try it, the rest of the razors I have seem too mild for me, even the M1 plate. Blade: Third day trying this blade and I think it is a good blade. It seemed to work very well with the two razors I tried it in.This is the last day as it doesnt seem as sharp and smooth now. Soap: This is the first time trying out this Proraso White and it is very good stuff. I had no problem creating a nice protective lather that lasted all three passes. Very good stuff Post Shave: I used the Proraso white for post shave as I heard you can but it felt like it was burning some so I quickly washed it off. Dont like it. Comments: Shave was very good, I managed to get a DFS in three passes and almost no touch up. No weepers or irritation at all. No complaints today as I got another great shave, Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out! Thx.
Thank you! It's a great, vintage Pinaud bottle that I was able to pick up on the cheap from ebay. Sadly, my cell phone and poor photography skills did not do it justice in today's photo.

Conk Lime Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC4 HMB brush. Two passes with my '62 Gillette Slim razor and a Rapira Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Classic Vanilla after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Arko April Focus - CJB Kamisori April 24, 2015 - Week 4 Day 6 Prep - Hot shower and towel Brush - VDH Boar Soap - Arko Razor - CJB Blade - (6) Post - Alum, Clubman Late night post due to early morning but I did get two passes with the CJB and went to work looking good. DFS on face and CCS on the neck but I decided it was good enough. One minor nick on my neck but nothing to worry about. I could have finished a third pass with either the CJB or my SS but decided two was enough for the day. Early morning again tomorrow as usual on Saturday so I'll do my usual Saturday DE shave and be ready to push some quality automobiles out the door!

Adequate shave I used a personna lab blue in Der vorschlaghammer today, and I found it less forgiving than voskhod. I got a solid shave but with a few weepers on my neck. B&M Diamond whipped up nicely and I finished with Kyovu Bay Rum. The scents are complimentary and really go nicely for me. I love bay rum, so I could be biased here. All in all, this shave was acceptable, but I think I'll go back to voskhod tomorrow. I am running out of Proraso White, so I may give try Proraso red pre next month.
Saturday SOTD 59' Gillette FB Gillette spoiler blade (2) Simpsons Berkeley brush Pacific Shave Co PSO L'Occitone Cade shave cream LEA aftershave lotion L'Occitone Eav Des Bavx eau de toilette Took a break from the Schick injector and brought the old faithful Fatboy. Great products and a great shave. The L'Occitone products impress me each time I use them. The Cade scent in the shave cream is strong and classy. I went with the LEA aftershave because of its really light scent. I will be getting wiffs of the cologne all day as is has tremendous lasting power without being overpowering to start.
04/25/2015 Razor – Mongoose B2 Blade –Feather Pro (9) Brush –Rudy Vey with TGN Finest Lather – B&M Lavanille Post - Witch Hazel and Myrsol F/Extra sample Fantastic 3 pass BBS shave this morning. The B&M Lavanille whipped up a great slick lather. Finest up with witch hazel followed by a Mrysol F/Extra AS.
My first time shaving with this Stirling Frozen Tundra soap was very, very good. The soap has a really nice scent of wintergreen with some other notes which I can't really explain. The lather takes a bit of extra effort to whip up, but it still becomes rich and slick with great blade glide and the menthol power is STRONG. Not to the same level as a Glacial soap, but still enough to say it deserves four symbols. The skincare, like with all of Rod's soaps is magnificent. I'll post a review very soon.
