I'm digging deep into my neglected soaps, two Palmolive sticks grated into this container over a year ago. Excellent performance! I heard they're being discontinued? The RAKE I love my olive wood finest! Love! Shady Past. Got one?

Nice close 2 pass XTG & ATG shave today. Some irritation and a few weepers, I know better than to go ATG 2 days in a row but went for it anyway. Killed my Stirling Barbershop sample so it's back to Arko for now.

4/27/2015 My Big Fat Tobacco Tuesday Shave!

Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Gillette Executive (3), Dubl Duck Goldedge straight razor
Blade: Astra SP (5)
Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
Soap: Tabac
After: Home made ASB, Tabac after shave
Cologne: Tabac EDC

It was an almost Baby Butt Smooth 2 pass shave this morning. The Vie Long brush whipped up the Tabac into a wonderful lather. The Duck and the Exec did a spectacular job. The Tabac AS and the Tabac EDC were a fine finish to this great shave and they will have me smelling good all day.

Dr Harris' Windsor EdT: Great summer scent - citrusy and woodsy. I like it quite a bit.

Second shave with this beautiful Dubl Duck. Lathered up the Castle with my silvertip in my favorite OS mug, sitting in a sink of hot water, for some nice warm lather. Spent extra time hydrating my beard with the Castle. Started like my first shave going from my sideburn to my jaw line on my right side with my right hand. It went well again, so I did the left side with my left hand. That went so well I did my neck on my left side. Looking good, so left hand right hand going easy trying to figure out the best approach. Not pushing my luck I stopped there and finished with my FB, and only needed 1 pass. I'm getting the hang of this but it will take some time to figure all the angles. Still not close everywhere but my cheeks and the left side of my neck. No blood today, and my DE shaving seems to benefit from working with the Duck. Nice cucumber smell with the WH, and then some soothing JB Gel. After cleanup some vintage OS.
