Fantastic near BBS 2 pass shave this morning. Did manage to end up with one weeper but it was my fault. I really like the B&M Seville Soap. The scent has a very nice citrus note that is not over powering but does linger after the shave. Furthermore this soap is seriously slick. For any touch ups just a splash of water has enough residual slickness to prevent razor burn. Finished up with witch hazel and a splash of Myrsol Limon from my sampler pack. Between the soap and the aftershave, the post shave feel is great.

Brian, that razor is truly stunning. If it shaves half as good as it looks, it has to be a winner.

I wish that I had a bottle of that WSO "Signature". I have the soap and LOVE it.

+1 with The Drunken Goat. Great stuff, fantastic scent. I find goat milk bath bars work the best for our skin and how can I not like my favorite beer as one of the ingredients?

    SOTD 4/30/15 was excellent and consisted of the following;

    Noxzema w/moisturizer pre-shave
    Hot shower
    Proraso w/SOC brush
    Schick G1 Injector w/Schick blade (11th shave)
Witch Hazel followed by Nivea Sensitive Balm
Finished with Barbasol Pacific Rush (nice menthol kick!)

    2-passes WTG & XTG, some touch-up for a DFS!

Soap: Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood (I'll try to write my thoughts on it in the Stirling review thread--lovely scent)

Razor: Muhle R-89 with Super Iridium blade (5th shave I think)

Post: Thayers Rose Witchazel and Captain's Choice Sandalwood A/S

Cologne: Polo Black (paired very well with the Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood and the CC Sandalwood. Imma use this combo again!)

Shave resulted in a BBS face but my neck is still getting razor burn. My face rarely gets any razor burn but apparently I can just hold a razor close to my neck and I'll get razor burn. I had a few slight weepers this morning on my neck and 2 on my face -- nothing major but not as smooth of a shave as I had yesterday.

Agreed. When I read way back about Jim taking care of family issues I jumped on obtaining a back up tin of Signature soap but only could find just one bottle of the AS. Hope he makes a comeback as he produced some wonderful products but in my book one's family comes first and foremost. Either way, wish Jim the best.

Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Gillette Senator, John Jay Velvet Shaver straight razor
    Blade: Astra SP (7)
    Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
    Soap: Cella
After: Home made ASB, Nivea after shave balm
    Cologne: Gravity

I had another 2 pass Darn Fine Shave today. The Cella was whipped into a nice lather by the Vie Long brush. The Velvet Shaver and the Senator took care of the whiskers in no time. The Nivea ASB gave the moisturizing that I need and the Gravity will have me smelling good all day.

    Have blessed day!

    THURZDAY
    Early Morning shave
Just getting around to posting this after an early dawn shave. A very pleasant shave using a DE razor and shaving cream—both of which I use infrequently.
Result? A 3-pass BBS shave. This was a great way to start what looks to be long day!
    Have a blessed Thursday, all!
