Yesterday I used AOS Sandalwood and confirmed my belief that it lacked in the cushioning I wish for in my lather. Today I combined the AOS Sandalwood with some Le Pere Lucien and had much, much better lather. It was slightly less slick than yesterday, but I did not add any glycerin today. The amount of slickness was not an issue. Unfortunately, today I also finished the last feather blade in my possession. 3 passes and very smooth. LPL w/ AOS Sandalwood Feather Blade Slim Adjustable

Saturdays shave New month new soap or rather shaving cream this time. These are the last if the new products. To day I used trumpers Spanish leather. A bit of irritation but I'm hoping it was technique rather than product cos I really like the scent. The wife and I are stepping out soon, so I'll post tomorrow's shaving plans now! Sunday morning: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/SuperMax Blue day 7 Stirling Black Ice SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Mennen Skin Bracer AS Ahhhhh, the smell of black licorice with a nice hit of menthol - that's the best way to describe the Black Ice soap. It lathers like a charm, and gives the typically brilliant skincare which Rod's soaps are known for. The Gold Bond has become my number one favourite balm, even though all it really is is a mentholated skin lotion without even a real scent. The Skin Bracer is a must-have at all times for my aftershave rotation. This SuperMax Blue seemed to get dull a little faster than my other ones - let's hope it'll do the job right!
