Nothing fancy, but I still thought I'd share.

When I change blades I put the used blade into the wrapper of the new blade. Then I snap them in half to make more room. They fit perfectly in a small empty pill bottle. When the pill bottle is full, it's easy and safe to toss out.

I cut a slice in the top and just drop them in. It's not pretty but it works :) I didn't do so well in arts and crafts :D

This was a face cream jar that I cut a slot in. I also glued an old blade on top. I made the label and taped it on with packing tape, sealing the lid.

I do the same thing for my desk where I work on razors and swap blades sometimes. I also have a larger plastic container in my shave den that I drop the bulk into.

The pill container is nice, when done seal and pitch. I also have one of those white little metal ones that online retailers sell, I fill them up quick. I would like to upgrade to something larger and more traditional.

I've looked at some of the glass blade banks. I just don't like the idea of emptying them out when they are full. I keep thinking of using a soup can with a slot in one end...fill it up and take the whole thing to recycling.

You earned a higher grade in arts and crafts than I ever did!

A soup can would be ideal, large enough to hold a lot of blades and sturdy.

I keep meaning to buy a can of broth. Easier to drain and clean with just a slot in it for the blades. I use a couple of cans of broth a month anyway but have been buying it in the cardboard packaging. Note to self....buy one can instead next time.

Nothing fancy here. I plunk the blades down in an empty Old Spice pomade container.
Once it's full I'll seal it and dispose of it.

I'm onto my second one of these now. They last a long time. I'm a daily shaver and try never to use a blade 3 times. Even so, my first container must have lasted at least 4 years.

I have a jar just like that (without the label) When it gets full. I wrap it in duct tape and it goes in trash.

I like the vintage blade banks, but I have not been able to get one as yet. I have a vintage mustard container that was made to be converted into a child's coin bank. The glass is shaped to be an image of Donald Duck.

I'm using an Almond Roca candy tin. Just sealed the top with some tape and cut a slot to insert used blades. When it's full, I'll tape her shut and dispose of it. Can't wait to fill it up, too. Gives me a reason to eat a tin of delicious candies!!

I buy small tin banks from flea markets, tape them up when they are full mark them as sharps ,and circular file them

We use a metal mint tin, with a slot cut into the side. When it's full, we seal it, label it & put it in the metal recycling.
