Guys who wear cologne after they shave—what are your current favourites? Obviously summer is right around the corner, so what are some of your favorite summer scents?

Right now, I'm wearing Tommy Bahama's Very Cool, American Eagle's Surf, and RazoRock's The Stallion, although I do think that Very Cool is the best option in warmer weather. So, what are your favorites right now?

Paco Rabanne lately.

My husband's are Bergamot or Lemon Verbena. I make them; it's very easy. You just need essential oils & perfumer's alcohol.

My wife likes Very Sexy by Victoria's Secret, so I like Very Sexy by Victoria's Secret.

I'm actually scared to get into that whole business...plus there's also so many great-smelling, inexpensive colognes I still need to pick up.

Why do you find it scary?

I'm just not a DIY kind of guy; seems like something I'd just screw up pretty quickly.

It's not tough, but as you say, there are plenty of ready-made options.

I'm mostly an aftershave guy so I don't have a favorite cologne. However, I do have three inexpensive colognes that aren't too strong that I like to use.

And then my wife bought me a small bottle of Stampede last summer that she likes so I wear it occasionally.
I think warmer weather lends itself to the smells of fruit, especially that which grows in warmer climates. I'm really liking my TOBS Grapefruit shave cream these days and Lemon Verbena bar soap in the shower.

cool water, citrus musk, bay rum, Cuba blue, Eau Savage. I agree that I use aftershave way more than cologne but some of them last for a long time like most cologne so it serves the same function

i have/had so many different ones but these are my go to ones

YSL Rive Gauche pour Homme ---- (Only took me 80+ fragrance samples over ~14 months to decide it was THE one for me. Irony is, it was one of the first 5 I tried...)

Once in a while, I'll use either Jicky or Borneo 1834 for a day just to change things up a little.

I let my wife pick out my colognes. I trust her nose more than mine. Right now I have a bottle of John Varvatos EdT and a bottle of Ogallala Bay Rum cologne.

My wife's favourite is Rive Gauche from Yves Saint-Laurent when she can find it, and mine is either Aramis or Dolce & Gabbana.

Im really liking Just Cavalli, has a nicte tobacco scent...great for winter which is around the corner for us
