One of the last rays of hope for my acquisition disorders being under control seems to be gone. As I kept collecting razors and blades, oh so many blades, and then adding a couple of brushes, SWMBO shook her head and just showed that despairing look as the new cabinet we put up to increase space in the bathroom filled up. My one argument that I wasn't out of control was that I just didn't understand the guys who bought all the soap. After all, you just need one or two that work, right? The rest of you guys had the problem, not ME! At the time I had Proraso Green in the tub, Arko in the tub and VDH Deluxe. Even she had to agree that three good soaps weren't out of line. Then I added St. Charles Shave Sandalwood. Well, just supporting a local artisan. Then Williams, though that really is a short-term resident. Tonight I ordered Tabac and realized that I now have a list of soaps to acquire. MWF, another Saint Charles scent (or two), RazoRock Classic (along with an Omega 10066), noticed a puck of Burma Shave soap available that might be interesting, and we're not even starting on the list of potential creams (Catie's bubbles, TOBS and a few others). Out of nowhere it seems SAD has joined RAD which compliments RBAD. Not sure how to break it to my wife that we probably need another cabinet.
Yup. I just realized that I have 32 soaps (I AM the guy that has the problem!) and 4 more on the way from a trade deal. It never ends. It was such a good though
Ok you're my go to guy if SWMBO blows up. "Hey, I'm fine...there's this guy who has 32....I'm nowhere near that yet".....yep just saved my butt. I owe you!

I have more soap than I can use, more razor blades then I need and that will not run until the maybe the next Presidential inauguration and maybe two years into that term. Unless I maybe shave 4 times a day "Well if we didn't need it we wouldn't buy it"acquisition disorders abound on this forum.
I think I have at least a dozen soaps right now. I declared a moratorium on buying any new soaps last year. I have at least 5 different soaps I have not even opened!
I'm doing better on soaps. No new soaps for almost 4 months now. Let's see... VDH deluxe Arko Tabac Palmolive Stirling MWF Not too bad. Unfortunately, I've purchased 6 straight razors in the past two weeks......
My weakness was razors, then soaps, now I'm dabbling with brushes a bit. I'm in a monthly sabbatical over in the that other forum and thankfully I am doing pretty good so far.
With over 30 razors, soaps and creams in the high 20's, over a 1000 blades, and almost 20 aftershaves.... I don't have a problem. Those that have all the brushes have the problem. I own only 5. Oh, I've got question. Which do you think is better? The Simpson Chubby 2 or Duke 3??? Also, I could use another synthetic, is the Omega S good? ........
I am at 8 soaps, and am holding off on anymore untill I use up a few of these. I have some great artisan suggestions for you Neal, to help expand what is absolutly needed. If it helps, one of them is only $5 for a puck that will last about six months with daily use, so it is a great value.
I just started taking over a half drawer in my wife jewelry cabinet for my de and straight storage. She not find like it when I start expanding into other drawers as well!
Same here. Plus soaps that I have gotten to test and review. And my stash of stuff they seem to not sell anywhere anymore. And I have given a bunch of that stuff away.
Currently I'm at 28 or 29, only been doing this for about 6 or 7 weeks. My excuse... the apocalypse is only a few weeks away, we need this stuff for trade and bartering.

No. You're perfectly fine. No problem at all. Not even close. Trust me, I sell used cars and one time stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.
