Thanks yeah we've been in contact in the past few weeks about these blades. He was the one I mentioned who just tried these blades and felt that they were very tuggy :)

I didn't see any mention of blood. Did you leave that out? Did I miss it? I so hate missing details like that when you experiment. You know I always have your best interest at heart.....not even a little blood? I mean, I don't want you to hurt yourself but.........oh come on throw me a BONE already!

    Sorry no bloodski :)
First pass I don't think the blade made contact with the face - angle was waaay off - and second pass I stopped the shave w/in 2-3 strokes due to severe tugging.

Maybe the Berkeley will cut me? ;)

I see you had a similar experince as I did with those blades. It was too painful to get through a stroke much less a whole pass. I won't be carrying those anytime soon.

A BBS shave guaranteed if you remember to stretch your skin. Otherwise, they can be pawful.

I'm actually giving them ONE more try tomorrow morning as I'll have less growth.
Thanks for the suggestion about stretching the skin - it does make sense as it sort of feels like shaving with a straight razor....

For best results, shave after your shower:

And finish with a nourishing after-shave balm:

You might also try stropping the blade first either on the palm of you hand or on your jeans.

Or just run it up and down my tail?

Just be careful of the shock box on your new collar for the invisible fencing.

I feel bad for the poor dogs that have to get shaved with a dull blade. that's not cool. I give you credit for trying new things and having the courage to take one for the team!
