Wow! :Animatedfrozensmily:As I type this my face is still frozen. I'm working until 11:30am (I'll be watching my 2 year old grandson for the afternoon) when I get home I'll shave my head with this setup. @crackstar I get it! I totally get what you mean now. This soap is FANTASTIC! My eyes watered, nose ran, boy it felt amazing. My Burma Shave custom performs like no other brush! I'm hooked on Lemon Chill! This is a pre-filled jar from Stirling which I really like a lot, it's the direction Rod is going in, I'm sure you will still be able to buy pucks only. Thanks Jeff!
    Go out and get it

    5/12/15 - The Shovelhead!!

    Ever Ready Shovelhead
    GEM PTFE Blade (2)
    Clubman Pinaud Special Reserve

The Shovel is different. Angle, aggressiveness, feel, and weight. It wasn't a bad shave. In fact, a closer shave than the GEM 1912. Just seemed the head was a little too heavy. But it was just the first go with it. Got a very close shave with only one nick (account not holding the angle right)

This one has a little plate loss at the tip of the comb, so that kind of messes with my mind and makes it a less smooth shave. If I choose I really like it, I'll be getting another in better condition. This was just a cheap try. Haha

Another great near BBS 2 pass shave this morning. I had to work a little harder to get the same results. I will be changing the blade before the next shave. The B&M Seville soap is one of my favorite soaps. I really enjoy the scent and the performance. Finished up with witch hazel and Myrsol Limon from my sample pack.

I agree 100%, David. The TSD sticks are not only a quick lathering solution, but the lather is top notch as well! :happy088:

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Scots Pine Sheep
    Soap: TOBS Avocado Cream
    Razor: Gillette Fatboy/195 [6]
    Blade: Personna Med Prep (2)
    Brush: Plisson #12 Grey Badger-22mmx56mm
    Aftershave: Proraso Green

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

TOBS Avocado cream today. 20 seconds to load the Plisson badger. Great, easy, thick, lather. Personna Med Prep in the Fatboy. I left the Fatboy on 6. Almost no learning curve as expected. It is definitely more aggressive set on 6 than my Slim and I am getting used to the different angle. Superb smooth, close, shave. I finished with Proraso Green.

I have to say the end result was the normal super smooth shave I have come to expect from this razor... But this blade and razor combination doesn't do it for me. Some tugging and a little irritation as a result. Maybe this blade will be suitable in the slant, which seems to make any blade shine like a new car.
