I hope you all enjoy the weekend in safety and good fun. But I ask you to take some time to remember those who have given their lives in defense of our freedoms. Please fly a flag, say a prayer, light a candle or whatever has meaning for you.

I salute all my brothers and sisters in arms, this weekend, and especially those that made the ultimate sacrifice,

My flag flies proud each and every day but stands in honor today! Many of us here are old enough to be the offspring of The Greatest Generation and grew up hearing the good and bad stories of WW II!
And I have many friends that are Viet Nam vets and today is their day! Here's to all of you my friends!

Thanks to all that have served or are now serving. A special thanks and prayer to those and their families that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. For those of use with children, it's our duty to teach them that today is much more than the start of summer.

Without them my face would not be able to enjoy the DFS's the peace, safety and comfort my own den affords. Heart felt gratitude to all who gave the supreme sacrifice.

I am grateful to all who gave their all, but I want to thank all those who were willing to give their all and who served or who currently serve.

I will always remember.
