Just completed a mind-numbingly common-sensical on-line training module for work and my central air is dying. So, I've had better days. On the plus side, I had a really good, but grueling workout today tabata-style* which is a new thing for me.

*20 sec of as many reps of a reasonable weight for as you can do as fast as you can, rest for 10 sec. Repeat 7 more times.

edit: Oh, and the dishwasher backed up into the kitchen sink again. And, it's not draining.

 

Woops, it wasn't detergent, it was baby shampoo. The problem with aging is short term memory loss....

Tabata is good stuff... Grueling, but a full workout in 4 minutes
Usually it's used with aerobic activities as HIIT, but can be done with resistance training

 

Uggh, I just put a teaspoon of baby shampoo in my detergent, and now the toaster is bubbling over

OTOH, you'll have some nice fluffy toaster waffles now.

 

I'll still pass on that. SLS up the nose can't be good or comfortable. Or as my nephew once put it, "No tears, my a@@." He then promptly discovered what shampoo tastes like as well.

Plus, xylitol (a natural sugar alcohol) is unnoticed as an add in with the saline and it's naturally antibiotic and antiviral.

Around 3:30am, Dapper Jr decided that projectile vomiting on me from bottom lip to below my belly button was a good idea. It was a wonderful experience, you all should try it. I think we're about to be stricken by a stomach bug. I'm feeling woozy myself. Have a good day, folks.

one of these days I'll tell you about a friend of mine who was playing Upsy Daisy with his first kid and got puked on full on in the face with his mouth open. Anyhow hope the little guys feeling better soon

 

I ended up walking about 12 miles San Francisco yesterday. Today I'm not doing that.

 

I won tickets to a private performance to see The Pretty Reckless as well as see them later tonight at another venue....unfortunately they just now called me and I don't see being able to get a baby sitter in 3 hours....womp womp womp lol

 

It's just a bug going through the house, I am pretty sure it's coming my way.

Well, my plumbing issues are at least fixed to the point of functional. whew. Seems that the vent stack and drainage were never sloped properly so 20+ years of literal waste has been slowly collecting and had finally gotten to the point of PROBLEM.
