Good cream, great scent but I am not Mr. Burns :rofl The numbers above speak for them self but I am not paying for it again.
Got it. Love it. Paired with the A/S balm, and then completed with the EdT, it's a knockout in Sandalwood scent. Like most things Sandalwood, it tends to dry me out just a bit, but the scent and performance more than make up for it. That's what A/S balms are for!!!
Pretty Good Cream AOS Sandalwood is a high quality cream but the smell is... uh... well, it's ok. I can have a nice comfortable shave with it every time, though. One almond sized dollop produces a mountain of slick, protective lather but is a bit on the drying side. As always, YMMV. EDIT: The scent really grew on me over time. Now I find myself missing it since the tub ran out. I might just buy this one again, or try their soap out.
I really love this cream. It smells fantastic and it lathers like it has something to prove. It is the first cream I tried. I've tried a few others, like the T&H and coates, and to be honest the best all around cream I've tried is the AOS. I've even tried the AOS lavender, which is a real treat and lathers just as well and is as much of a pleasure to use. This cream has changed my shaving experience, and at 22 bucks for a tub, which would probably amount to something like 8 months of shaves is pennies a shave, which I wouldn't call terribly expensive.
This is a very good shaving cream. Not any better or worse than TOBS or Trumper's. What I do really like about it is the pure [to my nose] interpretation of the sandalwood frangrance. This makes me wish to try their sandalwood shaving soap, but the problem for me [like with the cream] is the premium price of TAOS products. Some customers will be only too happy to pay these prices. I am still undecided knowing that products of equal quality are available for less than half the price...
Absolutely not a cream for me, in spite of the terrific lather it gives. The scent is good, but too, too strong, and it irritates my skin.
This is my favorite cream, the scent is nice but not very strong, very nice lather, the price is about 22 bucks for 5 oz, seems to be in line with the three T's. Not sure why this gets such bad marks for price, but the three T's from England are not over priced?
