It's been a wet week in Houston and the Mosquitos are pretty fierce. Deep woods off is the scent of the summer right now This morning I started the day with some captains choice bay rum and spent the day in the yard without a bite. Everyone around me is slapping and spraying off. Has anyone else noticed this? It's really cool.
No, but if that works I will have to give it a try. The sceeters get pretty mean down here (Florida) as well.
Well that is a very good thing! More Bay oil information. http://articles.mercola.com/herbal-oils/bay-oil.aspx
Sounds like a good justification to buy some more bay rum. Pinuad was alright but there has to be a bay rum out there that I'll want to keep in my regular rotation.
I've tried a few. The one I keep going back to is Master's Bay Rum. It's a one note symphony, but sometimes simpler is better.
In my opinion. Used it once and threw it in the trash. That was a mistake. My garbage can smelled for weeks. Should I ever have the dubious pleasure of receiving another bottle, I will discard it in the neighbor's trash can. What was this thread about again?
My wife actually likes Bay Rum (she is under 40). She is from Puerto Rico, though, so that might be part of the reason why.
