I did 2o pounds of brisket and 30 pounds of butt (That sounds funny) last week at a Dept fundraiser/competition. I am bbq smoked out for t least 1 more week lol!! Hope yours is wonderful

Thanks. I smoked 5 lb butt and 6 lb brisket this past weekend and both came out great so I'm smoking an 8lb butt and 12 brisket for a birthday party for a friend this weekend.

I have an Char-Griller Akorn, model 6520 and it has been a wonderful investment. This past weekend I only had to adjust the vents twice over 13 hours of smoke time to keep the keep the temp from rising above 240 and temp fluctuated between 232 and 205 and didn't drop below 205.

Very nice! Good for you. I have a 18.5 Weber Smokey Mountain that runs like a dream and a UDS (Ugly Drum Smoker) my 16 year old daughter and I built.

This weekend is dog and human shampoo bar making weekend.

Do you make for personal use only or is this something you sell?

I'm still working on the whole selling thing. I'm leaning towards the dog market. A loving dog owner will buy just about anything.
