06/12/2015 Razor – Gillette Red & Black New Deluxe Blade – Feather (2) Brush – Rubberset 400-3 with WSP HMW Lather – TSD Signature Post - Witch Hazel and Captain’s Choice Bay Rum I am enjoying the R&B New Deluxe because I get consistently great to fantastic shaves with this razor/blade combo. Another near BBS 3 pass shave this morning. I used the TSD Signature lanolin soap and found it easy to lather and very slick. Finished up with a splash of CC Bay Rum. today's shave hot water wash with nivea men's Olive wood/custom two band finest BOMBED Pyrate' cove bay rum and ginger Gillette fatboy(d4)(7) Ladas(2) ICED virgin island bay rum today's shave was nice. the funk is all but gone on my olive wood custom. it's effortless functionality and beautiful appearance are gonna make this brush one of my favorites for sure. three passes of the fatboy, I'm right. finished with iced bay rum. great cool shave. hope y'all did as well, or better.

It was a 2 pass Darn Fine Shave. The #6 brush had no trouble whipping up the Black Amber Vanille into a really thick lather. The Cobra and the Fily did their jobs well. The AV brought some chill and the Aqua H2O will have me smelling good all day. Have a blessed day!

Frey's Day: Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger Soap: Stirling Glacial Obsidian Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC Blade: Bolzano (2) Passes: WTG, XTG (3, 4) Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, Pinaud Clubman AS splash Cologne: Le 3e Homme de Caron by Caron Migraines coupled with depression make it tough to find the will to shave, particularly when the noise from the shower is too much. Back at it again today, though, attempting once again to get good lather from the Glacial Obsidian. I don't know; perhaps my expectations for 'good lather' are simply unreasonable, given what other folks have posted from time to time for lather pictures. In any event, extra time loading and extra time face-lathering produced acceptable lather, at best, for two passes. The Bolzano rounded into shape well, and those two passes got me DFS results. This was fortunate, because I decided not to go back to the puck to load enough product to get a 3rd pass in.

Decent shave every time I've used that combo. Busy week and most of it was 1 pass with the Injector to get me out the door. Got a box of goodies yesterday from a friend that I converted recently with some stuff to try so that'll be coming up over the next week I hope.
