Razor: Gillette Ball End Tech NDC (declared 1947) Birth Year Brush: Erskine Badger 1947 Birth Year Mug: Old Spice (early glass Mug 01) 1947 first glass mug Birth Year Cream: Cella Blade: Feather (2) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Balm, TOBS Luxury AS The Gillette Tech is a nice mild razor for me even with a Feather blade. The Erskine brush whipped up a thick warm lather in the OS Mug as it was sitting on a wash cloth, for padding, in the sink that was filled with hot water. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB Balm and some TOBS. Have a good one y'al.
Thank you for all the expressions, thoughts and prayers during this time of grieving. We take solace in knowing he was happy, that we three brothers were together and passing was quick. This will go in my back yard!

SOTD 6-13-15 PRESHAVE: Face wash with soap and warm/hot water RAZOR: ATT M2 with Bulldog handle BLADE: Platinum Lux (new) STRAIGHT: Gold Dollar SS SOAP: Arko stick BOWL: VDH BRUSH: Perfecto Badger POST: Rinse with warm/hot water to get soap off and then some cold water rinses/splashes and pat try. Comments: First of all I would like to thank Dustin Wade for cleaning up and honing the GD razor. The shave today was good! I started out with a two day growth as I didnt shave yesterday. I used the GD on my cheeks and chin areas to get a feel for it. It worked pretty well but it didn't seem to cut much off but that was probably my angle and not the razor! The ATT M2 plate is more mild than I prefer but it did the job, just took longer. The Arko preforms as expected so no issues there with the lather, protection or slickness! No irritation but one weeper! I managed to get my DFS in three passes and some touch up. Not sure the M2 is for me and can't wait to get the Wolfman back! Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out! Of course, YMMV! Thx

Managed a decent 3 pass shave, but still needed some clean up after using the DE. All in all a good shave. Love the Musco Real.

Sunday's Dove Men Face Wash Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap Omega 11137 Boar Gillette President Personna SS CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Pinaud Clubman AS The Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Omega 11137 Boar brush. Two passes with my Gillette President razor and a Personna Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Here we go for Sunday! My planned shave: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Sabi Ebony Handle/Derby day 3 Stirling Glacial Wintergreen SS Stirling Glacial Wintergreen AS Balm Stirling Glacial Wintergreen WH Chabrawichi 555 Cologne Just thinking about this set-up makes me shiver because it's so bloody frigid. The Glacial Wintergreen soap I'm using is from a last year's batch, but after a small issue which was easily resolved by letting the puck sit out uncovered for a few weeks, it lathers like a maniac and the menthol can knock you for a loop. The matching balm is another frigid delight and the witch hazel can leave you speechless. The Sabi/Derby combination is terrific - not too mild, but at the same time, not unduly aggressive. Just a light hand is required and don't be in a rush and you'll get an awesome shave with this razor.
