Thank you, sir! I got lucky with the brush and got in a trade with a friend of mine. I got the stand at West Coast Shaving.

Father's Day Dove Men Face Wash ARKO Extra Performance Semogue 1800 Boar Gillette President Personna SS CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman The ARKO Extra Performance Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Semogue 1800 Boar brush. Two passes with my Gillette President razor and a Personna Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
I saw that now, grenes.dk I think it's very good. It costs 8SEK too, that's a bonus. I like the smell a lot =)
Shave of the Day Cooling Shave on a Hot Day Music: Various EDM artists, including Flux Pavilion, Nero, Glitch Mob, Deadmau5, Tycho, Blackmill Prep: Hot shower, Somerset's Preshave Oil Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable H4 Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Platinum (1) Brush: New Forest 2204 High Mountain Badger Lather: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man, hot lathered in mug Shave (setting): 4 passes; WTG, XTG, R-XTG, ATG - All passes set to "5" Post: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue, Mentholated Nivea Sensitive Balm, Pinaud Clubman Talc body powder Scent: Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme Intense I don't have any mentholated shave soap yet, funds are tight, but I'm saving up for maybe some Stirling glacial. So I had to settle for my menthol in my pso and post shave. I worked outside today and man its hot and sticky and full of nasty mosquitoes out there. Makes me all itchy just thinking of it. Came inside and took a long refreshing shower, and had a good shave. Had a spa shave today, with loads of tallowy lather heated in an oversized mug in my sink by scalding water. I completely rinsed off and towl dried my face after every pass and reapplied cooling preshave oil before lathering. Going from the menthol PSO to hot lather is a cool feeling. The blade and razor and height setting was a good combination today. Will have to remember it. Applied AV Classic Ice Blue for that great smell and sting and then soothed it down with iced Nivea Sensitive. Powdered my body down with some Clubman for a soft feel and then applied some YSL Intense sparingly for a good smell. Feeling good gents, now to laze away the evening.
Sunday morning's plans: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Derby day 5 Gada Cool Mint SC Anherb AS Conditioner Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS Hey, I have to use my creams also otherwise what's the point of having them? The Gada Cool Mint from Lebanon is so damned cheap, but is it ever good. I love the lemony/minty scent, it lathers like a maniac in seconds, and it delivers pretty strong cooling along with an excellent post-shave feeling thanks to the presence of camomile. I'll soon be out of the Anherb conditioner so I'll have to look for another source for it - this stuff is so cooling and soothing. Thank goodness I could get the Aqua Velva any time and anywhere - it's so necessary for my aftershave rotation. A Happy Father's Day in advance!

World Tournament of Blades - Russia vs. the World!! June 20, 2015 Prep - Hot shower and towel Brush - VDH Boar Soap - Arko Razor - '59 Superspeed Blade - (2) Post - Alum, Nivea Balm Last bracket of the Russians in the Quarterfinals and it's the Sharp Star up again. This blade has intrigued me since first discovering it and it continues to rank among my top blades. So, here we go as it goes up against the Ladas. VDH Boar and Arko for the awesome lather and the first pass was nice and smooth. The blade seems to have kept its sharpness into the second use and felt great. Lathered for the XTG and it went well too, but maybe not as close as the first round. However, it's in a different razor. Finished with ATG/G-slide on the neck with a very nice DFS and called it. I might have gotten BBS but I didn't want to overdo it and add irritation for no good reason. A point is a point so let's lose it on the finish. Scoring - Sharpness, still a 1. Smoothness...a 1 though maybe not quite as perfect as the first round. Still no issues. Irritation, hit the alum and just the slightest of twinges so a 1 there. Finish? DFS is a 2. Total - 5 Matches the Voskhod but is not perfect this round as it was in the first. Difference in razors or is the blade perhaps not as good with use? We'll see in a few days. The Ladas tried to beat it tomorrow! Hope your Saturday was a good one...mine was busier than I would normally like but after a week of rain everybody was ready to look at cars!
