    razor: maggard 18c
    blade: perma sharp
    brush: Omega s synthetic
    soap: Porasso Sandalwood
    post: Soap Commander Resolution balm
    scent: CVS brand Aqua Velva

Decided to shave today since it is fathers day and im going to be around my family even though I shaved yesterday. I usually don't shave daily but I will if I feel I need to. the Porasso's earthy scent is something that is starting to grow on me. I didn't care for it at first but once it is lathered it is nice. 3 pass DFS. I did get a little bit of irritation on my jawline. the balm is pretty concentrated. a little bit is all that is needed. has a nice menthol kick and a great scent. Have a great shave everyone!!

Still not happy with this brush. To me it seems inconsistent with different soaps. Life goes on and nobody is shooting at me so live is good.;) Or are they?;)
Happy Father's Day to all Fathers. Excellent BBQ with my family today, and that's all that matters.

I'm not the only one! Yes! Thank you! I thought I was going nuts. I'm not a big fan of the Semogue 1305, I agree inconsistent.

I had a great day today playing with my kids and spending time with my family in general. I have been working so much lately, it was great to just spend time with everyone. I didn't shave until late this evening and used my father's day gift from my family courtesy of @gssixgun. It is a beautiful razor and provided great two pass shave needing only a little touch up with the DE due to my lack of skill.

    Sunday the 21st

Just got back home after an 11 hour drive back from emerald isle NC. Was a long drive but I went to Publix with the wife and picked up some pacific shaving co. Shave cream while I was there. This cream has a very light spearmint gum scent and is supposed to be cafinated. Overall it made for a nice shave but I feel I has to use more product to get the same amount of lather as other soaps/creams I've used. Still enjoying my new black super adjustable.

    Cold Water Shave
    Pre: home made PSO
    Soap: Pacific Shaving Co.
    Brush: EJ Finest Badger
    Razor: '82 Gillette Super Adjustable
    Blade: Gillette Platinum Plus

    Yet Another RazorGuy Shave!

I am continuing testing my shaving soap which I like more and more at each single shave. I am still thinking I should change something in this recipe, but I am however very happy with the amazing and incredible performance of this soap. Also the pre-shave and after shave are part of my homemade production and this time I wanted to use my Bay Rum, as it was quite a long time I did not use it in favor of the fresher Thyrrenus. This time I used a vintage straight razor: a gorgeous Wostenholm "pipe razor", one of my favorite vintage razors, smooth and velvety, I could not be wrong. For this shave I also wanted an icing on the cake and used my father's very old Omega bristle brush 47: although it is about 40 years old, it is one of the finest, softest, super performing and very best shave brushes I have in my shave den.
    • Pre-Shave: RazorGuy Pre-Shave Oil
    • Soap: RazorGuy Shaving Soap
    • Brush: My Father's Omega 47
    • Bowl: Chinese Cheap Bowl
    • Strop: Mastro Livi Loom Strop and Hand Palm
    • Razor: George Wostenholm & Sons Pipe Razor, 11/16 Half Hollow, Square Point
    • Post-Shave: Alum Block
    • Post-Shave: Argan Oil
    • After Shave: RazorGuy Bay Rum

    today's shave
hot water wash with dove+ care and a wash cloth
    Parker pure badger
    soap commander endurance(m)
    Gillette slim(j2)(7)
    Ladas(4)
    old spice after shave(red label)
today's shave was nice. Parker did a fine job with the modified endurance. three passes with the slim, very nice shave. finished with red label. brings up memory of my dad, these days he likes nivea. when I was little, he always used old spice.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

    Brush: Semogue 1305
    Lather: Dapper Dragon Unscented
Post: Alum. Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate
Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Black Powder
I overslept this morning! Very unusual for me. I must admit this DD soap is much better than what I used a couple of years ago! Very good soap. Im really enjoying the baby smooth, I believe Mark said that you don't even feel the blade, it's true. F&C Black Powder my daughter says smells like the mall. That's a good thing! Gold Bond is simply fantastic.
A better tomorrow. Takes your best today!
