It's available at a barbershop near my house. The owner is Lebanese and he brings it back from Egypt. How would you like a tube?
today's shave hot water wash with nivea men's semouge 620 soap commander love Gillette single ring 1918 persona lab(1) soap commander love balm Crusella& co legitima rose today's shave was nice. the 620 May look like a wild beast, but it performs like a sophisticated socialite. three passes with the single ring and a new lab, in a smooth as glass. finished with love balm and a splash of legitima, just to add a little whiskey in my "rose" water. hope y'all did as well, or better.
Dave, Please tell me about Crusellas and Co. Rose. I was on their website, but there's no way to purchase. Thoughts?
Great shave today. French soap mix with the Feather blade worked very well. 3 passes and extremely smooth. French soap mix Feather blade slim adjustable
My son Andrew (next to me) is graduating high school (w/honors) today June 25th 2015! He'll be attending Alfred University (Athletic Training) in the fall. He's also been given a roster spot on the football team as a QB. Very proud day for our family! Thor's Day: Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm Brush: Simpsons 56 Best Badger Soap: Stirling Bay Rum Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC Blade: Bic (1) Passes: WTG, XTG (1, 2) Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, Captain's Choice Cat o' Nine Tails AS splash Cologne: Gigember Estragone by Dr. Vranjes Good lather today, again produced at the cost of spending more time building it than needed for any other product I own. I probably could have done a 3rd pass, but going ATG with a blade on its 1st day is sometimes a recipe for nicks, weepers, and irritation for me, so I settled for something between SAS and DFS at 2 passes.

THURSDAY Fifth and final consecutive day using this vintage C-MON razor. Paired it this morning with Martin de Candre soap, resulting in a near-BBS shaving experience. Smooth! This razor goes on the 'keeper' list… Have a blessed Thursday, all!
World Tournament of Blades - Russia vs. the World!! June 25, 2015 Prep - Hot shower and towel Brush - VDH Boar Soap - Proraso Razor - '59 Ball End Tech Blade - (2) Post - Alum, Nivea Balm Wrapping up the Quarterfinals with the Derby! This blade was a surprising winner over the vaunted Feather and has its work cut out for it to keep going. However, @Bama Samurai is using Derbys this month and just ripped off 9 good shaves with one. Let's see if the hot streak continues here! Lathered the Proraso and went to work on the first pass. Very smooth and the blade is as sharp as it ever was, which is to say it isn't as sharp as some. Still, a great pass, comfortable and effective. XTG for the second and another smooth pass. The lack of sharpness showed up a bit as the blade left a bit more work for the third pass than I normally see. Went ATG on the third on my face, XTG and G-slide on the neck and finished with a very nice DFS. No complaints there. Scoring - Sharpness - This is a 2. Same as its first run. The Derby isn't among the sharpest blades but it functions well. Smoothness, definitely a 1. Very nice feel throughout. DFS for the finish which is a 2. That's 5 so far. Irritation - this was the one I was waiting on because a 1 forces the tie. And, in the last round, the Derby scored a 1. Let's go to the alum.....but wait....there is a mark high on my right cheek.....red....no blood....but looks like a scrape or near-weeper. Huh? Well if it's nothing the alum won't affect it. So....alum all over and.........yeah, that's a scrape or minor nick which lights up the alum.....and.....the burn is all over. Face, neck, especially the neck, and it's persistent. That makes irritation a 2. Total - 7. Great effort but not good enough. Winner - PERSONNA LAB BLUE!!!!! So, here are the Final Four! Voskhod vs. Ladas Bic vs. Personna Lab Blue Not the pairings I expected but they are good ones. The Final Four.....begins tomorrow!
06/25/2015 Razor – ATT R2 with Hempel Ti Blade – Feather (3) Brush – Rudy Vey with TGN Finest Lather – B&M Latha Post - Witch Hazel and Fine Platinum Another great 3 pass shave this morning. Not crazy about the scent of Latha but at least it dissipates by the time lathering is finished. The performance of the soap is very good. Finished off with a splash of Fine Platinum.

June 25, 2015 I'm back home after 11 days away and boy does it feel good to have a good night's sleep in my own bed with my dear wife stealing the covers and hearing the soft snores of my son in the next room. I spent the last 11 days in Lincoln, Nebraska - which is a beautiful city by the way - expanding my brain and my teacher toolbox and learned new ways to stretch and engage my students this year but boy, I got sick of shaving in a hotel bathroom with a faucet that's not like mine and a mirror that is the wrong distance away. I fell off the wagon and only shaved every other day or even every 3 days because I couldn't relax and enjoy the experience. But...its great to be home and to get back to my own sink! Prep: warm wash Lather: IanS hobbyist soap Brush: TGN synthetic Razor: Weber PH Blade: Gillette Nacet stainless Post: Old Spice Pure Sport
