    Looks like I needn't invoke the "I bought it in June but paying in July" clause. The Feather AS-D2 Massdrop has ended and the Kickstart for the Blackbird has postponed until August. I'm clear of purchases until weakness sets in. You know, that'll probably be sometime in 2016.

    I suppose it won't hurt, as few people would be interested in the item I'm currently bidding on.

    Back in 1992, Ralph Lauren introduced the fragrance, Safari. Along with the fragrance, he also introduced a complete set of men's grooming essentials. I found and purchased the shave brush and mug several years ago, but the (Trac II style) razor, hair brush and comb had eluded me.

    Very nice. I remember the safari fragrance - really, really liked it. I remember it as being a cigar-wood-fireplace kinda scent.

    wow, the best info on the brush was from your shave den post.
    it is an awesome brush. I always enjoy using it. I haven't had Trac II blades in years. I thought about getting some when I got this set. but I didn't, the brush went in the lineup, the razor in a box with my other cart razor handles. if you would have asked sooner, I'd have given it to you.

    :facepalm: I wish I'd known.

    You ought to sell it on eBay, the price I paid for the one I got was low. It's a really rare razor.
