What Manly Things Did You Do Today?

Took the girls and their donations in a skip loader to a donation center.
Hung out laundry.
Wept, a little, for the nation.
Dishes.
More laundry.
Kept girls from fighting...endlessly.
Made lunch.
Will make dinner.

 

Picked up the Dog Poop.

 

I'm a day late. Yesterday I did something I have never done before, I went fishing. I had a great time even though I didn't catch anything. It's actually extremely relaxing just to sit near the water looking at the trees, listening to the birds singing and watching huge fish taunt us as they jump out of the water mere inches away from where your hook is.
Nice just to be out in nature for a few hours, catching a fish would be a bonus.

 

Took my Granddaughter (3 1/2) to Kids N Motion - a moon bounce, inflatable slide, etc - type place we had a great time...she had to do the slides 25 times. Great memories for Papa and Elliana. Wrestled and played with Elliana. Split some firewood - one of my more enjoyable activities. With three back surgeries in the past seven years it probably isn't the smartest thing to do. But life is short and I want to stay active. I do an hour or so each day and do not over do it.

 

I blew off mowing the lawn.

 

Daily routine
Wake up
Shave
Coffee
Feed water the cat and parrots
Kiss my wife
1 1/2 hr commute to work...
12 hr in the shop
Metal fabrication.
1 1/2 hr commute home

Earn paycheck......
All without complaining..

 

Took the bus without complaining about it

I vacuumed the bedroom rug & then used the carpet steamer on it. Then, I raised the draw weight on my bow.

 

Have allowed a stray to adopt us, as long as she stays outside. In my experience, calicos and tortoise-shells are really good cats, as far as cats go.

 

Played/ looked after my girls thus weekend. Tiring but fun.

 

Had to play vet last night and this morning. My female tiel ripped up her wing during the storm Sunday night, and I didn't know it till last night. Birds tend to hide their wounds. They also try to hide their pain. I took her out and opened her wings, under was a bloody mess. I had to doctor her up and bath her clean while SWMBO held her. This morning I checked on my baby girl, and she looks great. No fresh blood and would is almost. Closed.

 

Installed new range vent. Hung out at the Barbershop.

 

Today I shot arrows in the rain.

 

Really, really makes me worried when in contrast I drank a Frappucino and complained about the icecream headache I got.

 

Maybe you can drink a Frappucino in the rain, while rooting for me at my next tournament. They shoot rain or shine, which is why I continued to practice after it started to rain.

 

Shaved (pun intended) nine strokes off on the back nine.

 

Picked up my strop materials and dbul duck from my drummer's house. Tuned up the jaguar bass, and went to studio for band night with the guys. (ie band practice/guy's night away from SWMBO).
