Being a cheapskate, I raided the wife's sewing cabinet and found the most manly fabric she had. 30 minutes of trying to figure how to thread and adjust the stitch tension on the sewing machine and voila! Not the prettiest, but now my razors are safe, as are my fingers. I hated having my straights strewn everywhere and so now they aren't.
Looks good to me! The fact that you escaped usage of the sewing machine without injury is in itself impressive! Hand made/Home made is best!
