Thursday's Dove Men Face Wash Soap Commander Renewal Omega 11137 Gillette Old Type Voskhod CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman The Soap Commander Renewal Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Omega 11137 Boar brush. Two passes with my Gillette Old Type razor and a Voskhod blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
SOTD 7-1-15 Comments: The GD provided a decent shave as I used it for two passes before going to the Wolfman DC for my cleanup pass. I did end up with two small weepers and some slight irritation. The shave felt pretty good and what I would call a CCS at least. I like this soap! I had no issues with the lather, It gave me plenty of protection or slickness. Shave was pretty good today! I will say that I am not sure I like e feel of the GD razor enough though to hang onto to it or keep using it! Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out! Of course, YMMV! Thx.

Thursday morning's plans: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Derby day 2 Italian Palmolive Menthol SC Gold Bond Moisturizer Mennen Skin Bracer AS This will be another nice, chilly shave - the Palmolive Menthol cream from Italy is hard to beat because it smells so beautiful, lathers so well, and gives such a terrific freezing sensation along with a relaxed, comfortable post-shave feeling. I want this cream to be in my rotation at ALL times. I also hope to be able to the Gold Bond stuff as well, because I love it so much. The Skin Bracer is an aftershave which has everything I love about it - its scent, icy-cold skincare which also soothes and protects against irritation. Man, these Derby blades are awesome!
I really do too. I've been using pomades for the last couple of years but I got tired of the greasiness. It was nice to find something great for less than $5.
Nice kit Joe =) I wanna revisit feathers. But I got a bad razorburn the first and last time I used one
