I think that as an adult, you'll be able to have the will power to not purchase a non-essential item. Fully knowing that this isn't the only version of the item in the universe, and that it will likely come back around numerous times in the future will help you overcome your weakness.
Have your better half buy it and give it to you in August. That doesn't count does it? It's not breaking or bending the rules. It's kinda like asking an accountant what 2+2 is. We will usually answer with "What do you want it to be?"

No we were all in the living room. You see when you're drinking some stuff just comes out and you don't think before talking lol. I was just trying to get him into wet shaving....oh well. I've told her plenty of times to order all this makeup she wants and she won't do it. Maybe when I start these 60 hour weeks soon I'll surprise her with something.....and of course sneak in another razor purchase lol
