I've said before, and prolly will again. IF I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE PROGRESS FIRST, I MAY NOT HAVE A RAZOR COLLECTION. IT'S THAT GOOD.
I have to stay in. My wife said of I buy another razor she'll beat me up. She's small and Italian. I'm a foot taller, outweigh her by 100 pounds and Welsh. I think she has the advantage.
Poor @Darkbulb. :mail: Joining the TSD No Buy July thread where only the strong survive and the weak are killed and eaten. Disappointed you couldn't hang. Still love you, though man.
me too he wanted nbj to continue, and was coerced to join. so I think he deserves a little slack. the premise of nbj is very sound. a break from buying and chasing auctions can be a very beneficial thing. I got a great sense of accomplishment when I completed it last year.
I'm not good at trash talk. So I ask for a moment of silence for our brothers who haven't been strong enough to keep up.
Remember he still has about 50 razors to try for the first time in his "modest" collection. He won't be trying the Mergress until sometime next year...unless he readjusts his timetable.
Now he's free to buy more shave stuff. We can only benefit from the month of reviews he will post. (Probably tease and try to covertly get us off our game too). I'm already jealous knowing the couple steals I had to pass on Friday.
Excuse@Omaney not trying to be rude but it looks like my post here has gotten passed over. I haven't been listed for NBJ. Feel left out. Especially after giving @Darkbulb the business for falling off the wagon. If I'm not in then I owe him an apology.
One of my aftershaves just ran out. There's a huge gaping empty spot on the shelf now. It mocks me. August is so very far away! I can be strong I hope...
I may be falling off the wagon in 4 days... Depends on how high the bidding goes and what my bank balance is. I doubt I'll win, but if I do...it will be worth it.
Guys, I will miss an occasional in or out. PM me if I do. This thread is already at 22 pages on my phone and my attention span is worse than..
Thanks. I understand. It's a big responsibility watching over this group. I just don't want to miss out on the fun.
Especially after passing up a vintage straight I would have PIF'd, a nice clean Gem micromatic, Old Spice for half the price I pay in Florida to satisfy my ASAD and some Williams soaps of which I would have PIF'd all but one. The straight was made in Sheffield, England by A. R.( or J) something. Can't remember because I put it out of my mind. It was in real good shape. He wanted $15 but I'm sure he would have taken $10. The Gem was $5. Clean and shiny like @Darkbulb likes.
