30 Day Rule - July 2015 July 8th Razor - CJB/Gillette New LC Blade - (3 2/3) Brush - Omega Pro 48 Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat Post - Cold Water splash, Alum, Nivea Original Post Shave Balm Slept in this morning, a bit too long. It's my late in day so I took advantage. Only about 18 hours since my last shave. Not the usual work needed to shave and I'm short on time so the CJB stayed put this morning and I used the New LC and Voskhod. Great shave as both the razor and blade are excellent. The Fat worked great and overall it was a great 3 pass shave to a very nice DFS. The areas that I sliced and diced are all pretty much healed so the return of the CJB after its day off should be smooth tomorrow. Or smoother anyway. It's Wednesday so we're halfway home this week. Also I can't believe we're in the second week of July. I have lots of cars to sell before the 31st!

SOTD 7-8-15 RAZOR: GILLETTE BALL END TECH BLADE: LORD (4TH USE) BRUSH: FINE ANGEL HAIR SYNTHETIC SOAP: VINTAGE ROYAL LONDON POST: DIY CITRUS PACHOULI BALM 3 PASS BBS SHAVE TODAY! I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO TRYING THIS VINTAGE SOAP AND IT WAS AWESOME! PRODUCED A RICH THICK LATHER IN NO TIME. DOESNT HAVE A SCENT JUST SMELLS LIKE SOAP BUT THE PERFORMANCE IS TOP NOTCH. VERY SLICK STUFF, HAD NO PROBLEM DOING TOUCH UPS WITH NO EXTRA LATHER ADDED. THE HOMEMADE BALM HAS A GREAT SCENT AND IS LOADED WITH MOISTURIZERS. HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT SHAVE AND A GREAT DAY!

Good thing most of the smoke cleared up from all the wildfires.

I knew I didn't have many passes left in the Bic, but I got in a one-pass, SAS that makes me look at least presentable, relatively speaking. Lather was good, and I could see the bottom of the container; good thing I have 3 more jars of the wonderful One-X.

Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO Razor: Cobra Classic, Friodur Inox straight razor Blade: Feather Professional (5) Brush: Turkish #6 Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat After: Home made ASB, Nivea after shave balm Cologne: Aqua H2O It is Wool Fat Wednesday! The #6 brush did a great job whipping up the MWF into a super lather this morning. The Cobra and Friodur did their jobs well. The Nivea ASB and the Aqua H2O were a nice finish to this Darn Fine Shave. Have a blessed day!
