    The best part of this shave was the soundtrack. I am not a fan of this cream at all but the balm mixed with the witch hazel was today's saving grace.

    3 PASS BBS SHAVE TODAY! I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO TRYING THIS VINTAGE SOAP AND IT WAS AWESOME! PRODUCED A RICH THICK LATHER IN NO TIME. DOESNT HAVE A SCENT JUST SMELLS LIKE SOAP BUT THE PERFORMANCE IS TOP NOTCH. VERY SLICK STUFF, HAD NO PROBLEM DOING TOUCH UPS WITH NO EXTRA LATHER ADDED. THE HOMEMADE BALM HAS A GREAT SCENT AND IS LOADED WITH MOISTURIZERS. HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT SHAVE AND A GREAT DAY!

    What a great shave and a great day! Good thing most of the smoke cleared up from all the wildfires.

    Post: Cold water splash, Dickinson's WH, Myrsol Metilsol AS splash
    Cologne: Velvet Mood (sample)

    After 2+ days without shaving while waiting for a plumber that has never come, enough was enough. I knew I didn't have many passes left in the Bic, but I got in a one-pass, SAS that makes me look at least presentable, relatively speaking. Lather was good, and I could see the bottom of the container; good thing I have 3 more jars of the wonderful One-X.

    7/8/2015 Wool Fat Wednesday!

    Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
    Razor: Cobra Classic, Friodur Inox straight razor
    Blade: Feather Professional (5)
    Brush: Turkish #6
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    After: Home made ASB, Nivea after shave balm
    Cologne: Aqua H2O

    It is Wool Fat Wednesday! The #6 brush did a great job whipping up the MWF into a super lather this morning. The Cobra and Friodur did their jobs well. The Nivea ASB and the Aqua H2O were a nice finish to this Darn Fine Shave.
