I saw a razor earlier today, that if they were asking a more reasonable price for, I would have had a hard time turning down.
I am actually considering. Actually I've decided to spend less money on shave gear and use the rest on the kids. NBJ also coincides with our holiday. In Denmark a lot of families have 3 weeks off together in the Summer. We have had some great days out during this period. It's great seeing the girls having so much fun. I just we had more money to do more stuff with them. I realised that I don't need or want any more shave gear right now. Birthdays and Christmas will help me get more shaving supplies. I can use more money on the girls instead.
Good good and bad news.... Bad news is I bought something. I didn't mean too. I was going strong. Then a good friend said they were gifting me a Straight Razor. It would be my first one. I was so thankful. Then he said that what I needed to do was get a Gold Dollar cheapo just to play with so I'll know the difference of sharpness and such. You know, don't hone the gold dollar and see what it feels like compared to the Ralf Aust that he's gifting me. He said talk to Anthony, The Stallion about. I did and got one. This all happened in a matter of minutes. You know how you get caught up. So, I'm out guys. Sorry. I almost made it. Good news is... I have 2 Straights in my possession now.
Gentlemen (and ladies), I present for your consideration, a possible NBJ violation. Exhibit A: TheFiveO acquired these items in July, (see exhibit A above) without having to pay for them, but with the expectation that payment would be forthcoming. The accused plans to pay August 1st, so as not to violate NBJ. What say you?
Half way thru NBJ and I am pleasantly surprised at the number of people that have not fallen off the wagon. Congrats to those of us still remaining.
I almost caved last night. Ever Ready 1924 in gold for $5 B.I.N. That was tough. It appeared to be in pretty nice shape.
Hmmm, using TheFiveO logic I can start buying with a credit card because it won't come due until August. Not! Nice try
He's just storing the razors for a while. Then he will buy them later. When the cash register bell rings, a sale has been made.
