the only way to save face would have been, to ask your friend the shopkeeper to hold the merchandise until you were clear to outright purchase them. he would have been happy to hold them for you, he's your friend. but you took the items into your possession. greed, impatients, and lack of self control are your undoing. better luck next year.

I enjoyed the feather. Its a pretty good shave once you get used to it. I haven't used the Kai, but they seem at least as well made.
I can't remember the last month I bought so much shaving and Den related stuff. There's jumping off the wagon, and then there's wallowing in the addiction. Lately I've taken to intercepting packages at the time of delivery and sneaking the contents into my shave related "collection storage boxes." If she asks, I've had this or that for a "while." (I don't tell her it's a "while" measured in dog time...dogs live in the moment, you know?) Edit: I forgot about the three tubes of euthymol toothpaste.
