    Dear NBJ judges,

    I came home from work today and my lovely wife said, "Look what I got for you at the thrift store!". She was genuinely excited as she handed me a 1970 Black Handle Super Speed. I stammered, "But, I..." When she interrupted and said, "You said YOU weren't buying anything. I didn't promise I wasn't buying anything."

    I did not ask her to buy anything for me or on my behalf. I didn't hint, cajole, infer or otherwise imply that SHE could do this to bypass NBJ. In fact, I didn't think she even heard me tell her about NBJ. So, I don't feel I violated the spirit or the intent of NBJ. I believe this was truly a gift. (Besides, I already have a black handle.) What do you think?

    And furthermore, argue that, should the court be so inclined, that the accused be instructed to have his SWMBO contact all her contemporaries of participants of The Den, to instruct them on the finer points of supporting their respective Den participants in our noble endeavor.
