1934 gillette aristocrat

    I have had this 1934 Gillette aristocrat razor for some time but is missing the retaining washer. Does any one have any suggestions on the best way to get it repaired?

    Can any one recommend a good place to get a razor plated ?

    Razor Emporium & Razor Emporium.

    Several other places do replating. Razor Emporium's the only one I know of that will also do repairs.

    I've sent two razors to Razor Emporium, and the service was great. They doctored up a '58 TV Special that wasn't working 100%. The plating came out great in both cases.

    No problem. I will likely send my Fatboy to them at some point as well.
