SOTD 07.30.2015 Prep: Shower Razor: Gillette Aristocrat Blade: Asco (1) Brush: Omega 10083 Lather: Proraso White Shave Soap Post: Cold rinse, Witch Hazel, Proraso White ASB Late evening shave, but was much needed after a long day. I only remember cuts and weepers the last time I used the Asco blade. It's not such a bad blade after all. 2 very comfortable passes and no damage around the face.

(Day 30 of 30 - focus completed) Maggard MR11 OC Stirling MITA L'Occitane Plisson Synthetic Gillette Platinum Alum Osage Rub I had a blast spending a month with Maggard and MITA, and really enjoyed trying all 8 blade labels. MITA was a super nice soap for a July Focus. I highly recommend it! Thanks again to @Bobcat for the opportunity to try all these fine products and combos! Have a Fantastic Friday!

Love Proraso...Nice clean shave. 10/10.
July 31 SOTD: Homemade PS Oil VDH Boar Brush Stirling Bay Rum SS Phoenix Dbl OC Stirling Unscented PSB Stirling Bay Rum AS I had my first bad shave with the Phoenix this morning. It started with the first stroke when the razor didn't feel quite the same. I kept going, though. Then on my ATG pass, a weepers and couple of small nicks on the mustache. Hmm that's not good. On to the chin and another weepers. At this point, I quickly but carefully finished up. The alum and AS stung quite a bit. I figured I would dispose of the blade and see if something is different this evening. At this point, I figured out that the cap was loose on the razor. Apparently, my kids messed with the razor yesterday and loosened it up. Lessen learned: make sure everything is assembled properly before shaving.

Holy Toledo, the Glacial Lemon Chill clobbered me with a menthol punch which left me with tearing eyes and a runny nose. The Penguin almost numbed me when I slapped it on. This shave couldn't have been more enjoyable! (and silky-smooth!)
FATBOY FRIDAY hot water wash with nivea men's and a washcloth l'occitane plisson synthetic BOMBED Proraso white Gillette executive(d3)(7) Ladas (1) ICED Barbasol brisk today's shave was nice. I used the now dead plisson, lathered the white pretty good. maybe the appearance of the golden fatboy breathed life back into it. three passes left me clean and very comfy. finished with iced brisk. hope y'all did as well, or better.
Sampsons all natural face lathered Ladas blade Slim Adjustable set to 8 3 passes Great shave today. Sampsons has a very clean feel to the soap. I also like that it is all natural.

Great easy, thick, lather. Personna Med Prep still in the NEW SC. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with CC Southern Oud. Bob
Fabulous Friday Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC Soap: Proraao Green Brush: Strongset restore AS: Barbasol Pacific Rush Really nice comfortable shave with this little beauty. It's very mild, but doesn't seem to require the touch-UPS I usually need with mild razors. I think it's efficient. The Proraso and Barbasol left my face cool and my eyes tearing. No menthol "punch" like Crackstar likes, just a light slap in the face to make sure I was awake. What a nice way to start the day! Happy Friday!

Superb Lime Friday I went with my New LC today looking for a mild by efficient shave, and I was not disappointed. The Lather Monster created thick yogurty goodness from Maggard Lime, and the New smoothly and easily eradicated my stubble. This no drama shave was welcome after some experimenting with settings on the Fatboy the last few days. I finished up with Proraso Green splash, an old favorite that I have not used in a long time. I like the scent and it makes my skin feel good, though I added Gondolier balm to moisturize a bit more. Not BBS but pretty close. Finished off with a splash of Fine L'Orange and I am ready for the day.

7/31/2015 Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO Razor: Cobra Classic, Hamburg Concave Quick Cutter straight razor Blade: Feather Professional (7) Brush: Turkish #6 Soap: RazoRock - Neroli After: Home made ASB, Nivea ASB Cologne: Cuir Cannage Welcome to Friday. The #6 brush turned the Neroli into a lather with yogurt like consistency. The Cobra and the Quick Cutter had no problem knocking down the stubble. The Nivea ASB and the Cuir Cannage were a nice finish to this Darn Fine Shave. Have a blessed day!
