Started to run-in the new engine of my son's moped. Finally. So far so good, though the odometer doesn't count the kilometers. Not very important, but...

And I put some varnish on the new benches of an old tram wagon (early 1900's) that is being rebuilt. The wagon was stripped to the frame and is being rebuilt almost as new. Only the visible wooden sides of the benches had to be varnished. There will be upholstery added in a later stage. I had sanded the benches last week.

It doesn't get much better than this.

On my way to day three

So far a good day. Got up early had a couple cups of coffee. SWMBO had me wait to order my Stirling shipment, so I took care of that this morning. Now we are getting ready to head off to church. It's turning out to be a lovely Sunday.

Breakfast and weather is great, don't and 80's. We're of to Geneva on the Lake for some general loafing, food, drink...

I spent the last hour looking on eBay and Etsy for a razor, it's truly amazing how many people think they have rusty gold! $65 for a flair tip? When the one below is $15. Wow! I'm so thankful that I bought my razors way before this razorgoldrush started. Time for some Advil..
