Thanks. It's a really nice place. Just behind this scene is a small play area for the kids. All made of wooden things so not to ruin the look. They play, we adults get to relax. Nice combination.

Cool pic. Does Philly still have the law where another building cannot be built higher than the one with the status of Ben Franklin on to top???

Very cool. I get an exact opposite view of that skyline from across the river in Pennsauken.

It was hot today. I guess the heat was just too much for some.

Yes they are. We went to a an aquarium and they have a great outdoor section with lots of different animals but this is the first time we've ever actually seen the raccoons.

Thanks, it was, and hopefully will be again since I am heading out again in an hour :)
It is a sunny morning here with little wind, so it ought to be a good day on the water

On our recent trip to Alabama we were trying to get to a little country church and the GPS had us going down this little one lane county road. Then we came to a one lane wooded bridge. Welcome to Alabama.

We eventually made it to the church. There is a cemetery there where my grandparents, aunts and uncle, and cousins are buried. There are three graves marked unknown. I saw a couple that were buried in 1902. The church building has really modernized since I was last there in the 60s. It now has vinyl siding and air conditioning with a "forever metal roof." I remember trying to stay cool with funeral home fans.
