Monday's Dove Men Face Wash Soap Commander Renewal Jayaruh #2 Synthetic Gem Jr Parade Treet Super SE CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman The Soap Commander Renewal face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #2 Synthetic brush. Two passes with my Gem Jr Parade razor and a Treet Super SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. I just shaved and I'm about to get in bed. I skipped my tech and went back to my favorite razor, the fatboy, I dialed it up to 6, stuck in a new Astra SP, and dove right in. I lathered up with Proraso Green and a peerless nylon brush and completed 3 passes. the first one wtg, was great I felt the blade more then I had on the lower settings but if anything I think it made me more aware of my blade angle. The 2nd pass xtg was also great no pain no irritation but alas it couldn't last. I lathered up a third time to chase after that BBS. I shaved ATG on my cheeks, BBS. I moved on to the goatee area and above the lip, BBS with no irritation. Then I finished the 3d pass on my neck. I felt no irritation, at the time. It was smooth, amazingly smooth I knabbed that BBS shave but as I gazed into the mirror with wonder I started noticing. . . redness and irritation on my neck. I splashed some cold water on to clean up what minor remnants of Proraso was left and saw it. Blood, one small weeper surrounded by red angry skin. I slapped on some Nivia sensitive aftershave balm. I think I'm done chasing the baby this year. When I have a regular blade I'll try again but until I get a feel for everything I'm going to stop at 2 passes.
OMG, is my face ever frozen - the Glacial Lemon Chill soap lathered famously for me and gave me its mega-powerful menthol sensation. The Glacial Wintergreen balm and witch hazel felt equally frigid with the best skincare a man could get. Results: BBS to the point where no stubble can be felt!

08/10/2015 Razor – Gillette Slim (J3) set on 9 Blade – Ladas (3) courtesy of @david of central florida Brush – Zenith Pro Aluminum Boar B2 Lather – Soap Commander Passion Post - Witch Hazel & Captain’s Choice Bay Rum with Menthol Another great shave with the Slim set on 9 for all three passes. Ended up with a very near BBS which is about par for me on a work morning. It's been awhile since I used the Soap Commander Passion. As with all their soaps it was very easy to lather and has a very nice spicy scent. Finished off with witch hazel and a splash of CC Bay Rum with menthol added. I'm glad that I bought menthol crystals to add some of my aftershaves.
Menthol Monday The Frostbite soap lathers easily and thick with my HIS XL, setting up my whiskers to face their humane and democratic end via the guillotine action of der Vorschlaghammer. I bowl lathered jb with the Vietnamese silvertip, very soft knot, thanks again @PLANofMAN , love it. the progress, awesome as usual. finished with iced Pacific rush. hope y'all did as well, or better.
