Tuesday's Planned Dove Men Face Wash Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap Jayaruh #2 Synthetic Gem Jr Parade Treet Super SE CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman The Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #2 Synthetic brush. Two passes with my Gem Jr Parade razor and a Treet Super SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

(VIG) 24/67 Cream: Bluebeards Revenge Shaving Cream Bowl: "Once a Marine Always a Marine". A/S: Captain's Choice Sandalwood Good shave tonight with the Slim. Need some time with this razor as I haven't used it that often. Bluebeards Revenge Shaving cream makes a ton of lather, however, I'm not sure it prepares the face well.

Tuesday's planned shave: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Personna day 2 Italian Palmolive Menthol SC Gold Bond Moisturizer Mennen Skin Bracer AS Another warm day means another nice, mentholated shave - the Palmolive Menthol cream from Italy is a cherished favourite of mine. The scent is a delight because it's so minty, fresh, and clean and the lather whips up in seconds with such a whopper of a cooling sensation which feels so wonderful. The skincare of this cream is like everything Palmolive from Europe - it's brilliant. For added soothing, moisturizing and cooling the Gold Bond is your ticket and I never want to be without the Skin Bracer. I LOVE the scent and the icy-cold sensation it gives me!

I am undecided on my next shave tomorrow. I want to try the again just to prove that I can get a decent shave out of it to myself. I enjoy my fatboy but I feel like I haven't used my superspeed lately. I also have this brand new (to me) old type that came in the mail while I was at work. What I do know is that I will be using the Proraso red soap with my Col Conk Badger brush with a finishing splash of nivia sensitive post shave balm. I'll use some gillette warming face scrub preshave with a hot towel soak for 3 to 5 min just because I enjoy it. I am open to suggestions on Razor choice. I will not be swapping out blades however. I have a personna med blue in my SS, an Astra SP in my fatboy, a voskhod in my tech and a tiger 3 hole in the old type since its the only razor I have that it fits in.
Had a nice shave yesterday. It was the forth with the Iridium Super blade, and it felt like it was brand new. I had to check my post history for previous postings about this blade, and was amused to learn that I at one time did not consider this blade to be good enough for a spot in my rotation. Then I started using it with a different razor and got a perfect match. I also used the MdC soap again following the advice to air it out to prevent irritation on my skin. Too early to tell yet, but so far so good. No irritation what so ever. Razor: EJ89 Blade: Iridium Super. Brush: The Sithspawn Soap: Martin de Candre Aftershave: Thayers Witch Hazel
