Jeff does it again - another awesome shave from the Super Speed/Personna duo. The Palmolive Menthol cream felt heavenly with its strong cooling sensation and so did the Skin Bracer.

Fat Tuesday Tabacstag Tabac provided its usual optimal lather today for a superb shave. I left the Fatboy on nine for the whole shave, resulting in a drama free BBS. I don't know if I can use this setting all the time, but it worked wonders today. I finished with CRSW Jd'O balm and I like the scent pairing and the soft skin. today's shave hot water wash with nivea men's and a washcloth semouge owners club Pyrate' cove lavender soap Muhle r41/ Maggard mr5 handle persona lab(3) lilac vegital change up today, I wanted to shake things up a bit. the wild soc made ok lather from the pc lavender. grandad's os mug. wow, what a razor today. the mr5 really made the r41 an arrogant dude. felt like I was riding the edge all shave. three passes, no touch up. very smooth, won't know about comfy till later. finished with a heavy splash of the veg (glass decanted). hope y'all did as well, or better.
30 day Focus - Day 10 MDC Lavender Face Lathered Rapira Platinum Lux Blade (Day 2 on blade, Day 4 on Rapira Platinum Lux) Slim Adjustable set to 8 3 passes I had a lousy shave today. I am not sure why, other than my technique was just plain bad this morning. I don't have any irritation, but I do have a fair number of spots that I obviously missed. Maybe I should have stepped closer to the razor. Maybe I should have had a second cup of coffee before shaving. At any rate, tomorrow's shave will certainly be better than today's.

Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate Aftershave: Fine Clean Vetiver I haven't shaved in 3 days, been down with a UTI. The antibiotic are magical! The Rocket/Lab Blue had no problem mowing down my 3 days worth of whiskers. Brought out my WD Silvertip, nice brush! It's nice to have enough gear that I can rotate a couple times a year. A better tomorrow, takes your best today!
TUESDAY Back-to-Work Day! Day#6 of 7 of consecutive use of the J-West razor on loan to me. Another pleasurable shaving experience this morn!. Today, I also tried out my new Omega boar brush that arrived yesterday, and while sorting through my stash of shaving stuff found a near-full tub of RazoRock XXX soap. The brush will take some time and use to soften, but made quick work of the relatively soft soap. The Xxx has a unique scent (old timey barber shop-ish?) which takes me some getting used to, but does makes some rich-feeeling, slick lather. Overall, a DFS! Have a great Tuesday, all!

Boker Master Razor straight razor Blade: Astra SP (3) Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair Soap: RazoRock - Tobacco #2 After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva Musk after shave Cologne: Midnight In Paris It is Tobacco Tuesday! The Vie Long brush whipped the Tobacco #2 into a nice lather. The Grande handle is much bigger and heavier that the standard R41 handle. The Astra blade felt smoother today. The Boker was shaving as smooth as butter. The AV and the Midnight In Paris were a nice finish to this 2 pass Darn Fine Shave. Have a blessed day!
