1. I am so ready to get home and see the SO and kids. Been a long 48 hour shift and in desperate need of a shower and shave.
  2. Just did some laundry, getting ready for the 12-8 pm shift at the hospital.

We had a great time on the ferry back to PEI from Nova Scotia

  5. What an amazing day. Took the dog we adopted to see his former owner at the nursing home and made his day. Found out my transmission will arrive at the shop in the morning. Installed my instructor software and grade book and now installing win 10 for the next 20hour:angry032:. Well going to kick back and watch a Disney movie with the girls.

  7. Wow...what a busy - however long it's been. So. Freaking. Busy.
School starting soon, another couple of weeks. I am so far behind in my area...I'm not used to this. I'm usually done imaging all the Windows machines in district by mid-July. But, it's not every year that we're going to pull all desktops and replace with Zero Clients and VMWare, sooooo....including learning curve, and troubleshooting unforeseen issues, yeah, I'm lagging. But, all the important stuff will be ready to start the year off.
And, next year, I'll be done in a week - update base, recompose pool...high school is done. and next, and next, etc. :D
If I can just figure out the trick to some of these older USB printers (besides taking them out to a field and reenacting the Office Space scene...)

In other news, my wife just passed her final test of the LVN course, now all she has to do is prepare and take what ever the licensing test is to be a nurse. It's been a ROUGH year, but we've made it through.

    How's y'all?
  8. Here's how my day was.

One of these was shoved under each of my kneecaps. This was a repeat performance of last Friday, and a preview of next Wednesday.

  9. Ouch! I can't imagine this to be fun, but I'm praying that the results are positive and quick!

  10. Thanks. The results are worth it. It's Euflexa, which works like a cushion. Last summer it was the difference between walking with a cane and working out on the treadmill.

  11. Ouch! I hope that works for you. Getting old is not for the squeamish.
  12. It's official.... I have cut the cord! No more cable television. :taunt002:

  16. I did about a year ago. I thought I would miss it more. I do Netflix now, and I have to say I have enjoyed it. I do miss my sports from time to time, but if that is an issue I just go to a sports bar. Which is a win, win, because I don't get in trouble for yelling to much.
  17. No! OTA for local TV stations. Netflix, and now that HBO NOW is on Chromecast I may add that down the road. Free tv baby!
  18. I still haven't done anything for locals. I am seriously considering getting HBO now, though. I am also curious about the Chromecast and how that works.
  19. But a Google Chromecast $30-40 depending where you get it. Plugs into your HMDI on the back of most tv's. You'll need internet. very easy to set up.
  20. Craptastic day. Came home and had a shower and shave. Helped a bit. Poured a bit of rum in a glass. Helped more.
