I've heard a lot of good things about vintage Colgate. And, I used Colgate soap about 20 years ago when I was using a brush and soap to shave with my cartridge razor. I remember it working pretty well but what did I know back then, right?
Yeah, I've heard good things about this soap as well...we shall see after it gets a bit of much needed hydration back into it I better like it...there's...a pound of it
And the packages continue to line up. Landed this on the bay this morning in between customers. A Krona to add to all of my vintage Gillette's. Schick's in the house! Or will be soon anyway.
A feshly restored Böker "Our Own" straight razor thanks to @HolyRollah. From the pics it looks much better than when I first picked it up. Super excited
This odd little fellow. Apparently it's Kent's vintage equivalent of the Wee Scot. It's marked H275, which is another oddity, as Kent uses "H" to designate horn handled brushes, which this obviously is not. 275 might refer to hight? 2.75"? Seller said it was about 3" tall.
How many stainless razors do you have again? Anyway, apparently I have a rare form of SBAD that is driving me to collect tiny shaving brushes.
I'm waiting on a Schick Krona and 10 different blades to try out, can't wait till Thursday and Friday!!
If I had to pick just one soap, it would likely be Tabac. Very unique scent and the performance is first rate.
Virginia Sheng knots (finest and silvertip) are showing some movement (Garden City, NY). These three pure badgers are coming separately from Granvillage_green. No movement since leaving China.
Waiting on a new Semogue Brush and a Kent Infinity synthetic brush. Just couldn't decide what to get, so I bought both. Also some Speick cream and soap. Fedex says friday, which seems like a long way off. Also have M-Bomb and shaving soap coming from TSD Shop.
