Thursday's Dove Men Face Wash TOBS Lavender Semogue Owners Club Gem 1912 Treet Super SE CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman The TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Semogue Owners Club boar brush. Two passes with my Gem 1912 razor and a Treet Super SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thanks. I have two New Forest "chubby 3" style brushes and both have luxurious badger knots that perform equally well face or bowl lathering. Had it not been for NBJ I would have purchased a third before he stopped production.
I was thinking the same thing this morning while lathering MdC. I bowl lathered after face lathering the first pass. I intentionially kept adding water and found it took a lot before getting thinned out.

This morning's 0630 shave: •Gillette Red Tip •1950s-60s PAL carbon blade •Arko Cool cream Same razor/blade as last shave but it went better...the blade has smoothed out some and the Arko is GREAT (I think the Arko made the big difference). I was BBS this morning and am still DFS+. Likely won't need to shave in the morning. Carbons? You betcha. • Das Boom Detroit lotion + Coty Wild Woods = a really rich tobacco fragrance. Combo is better suited for winter, though.
