1. I would suggest going Pro Guard, then Feather Pro and then Feather Super Pro. The first time I used the Super Pro my face was tingly for a full 24 hours.:shocked003:

PRESHAVE: Face wash with soap and warm/hot water
RAZOR: Matador Mastiff with a MR22 handle
    BLADE: Astra SP (4)
    SOAP: Arko stick
    BOWL: VDH
    BRUSH: Tweezerman badger
POST: Rinse with warm/hot water to get soap off and then some cold water rinses/splashes and pat try.

Comments: The Matador is a cheap head but works very good. It is pretty smooth and efficient as it takes the growth off easily. It is smooth and efficient enough that it only takes two passes plus a very little clean up. The Arko soap was very good as usual. It lathers easy and gave me a great slick protective shave and post feel is good too! This shave was very good today with my usual DFS shave! No irritation or weepers!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out! Of course, YMMV!

    Thx.

    Treet Super SE
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Pinaud Clubman

The Cella Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #17 boar brush. Two passes with my Gem 1912 razor and a Treet Super SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  9. Thursday Afternoon Shave

    Pre: Shower
    Razor: Weishi
    Blade: Voskhod
    Soap: Tabac
    Brush: Omega Beehive
    Post: Clubman Special Reserve

A nice, mild shave on a (comparatively) cool day. I would recommend the combo of Tabac and Clubman Special Reserve to anyone who has the wherewithall to try it. Initial testing by me shows it increases manliness by 23% and handsomeness by 28%. Those are early numbers, further testing required.

I've been getting excellent shave with the FB and Proraso cream. It doesn't hurt to have a good shave brush. I will use #7 setting tomorrow. We are getting heavy rain here out in the country and our satellite isn't working well.

    BLADE: LADAS (3RD SHAVE)
    BRUSH: EVER READY 600
    SOAP: STIRLING NAG CHAMPA
POST: OSAGE RUB/ F&C SHADY PAST

Had a good 3 pass shave today. The nag champa is a great scent and went well with the Shady Past A/S. Both are complex in a dark kind of way. The Osage is great to cool the skin down afterwards especially if there is any irritation. Good news is there was no irritation today, just a smooth finish. Hope everyone had a great shave!

    Old Spice Cologne

Mais oui, all week I've been using my favourite soaps and aftershaves because along with the a/c they've been keeping me feeling cold and comfy. The Glacial Wintergreen soap lathers like a maniac, it has that beautiful scent which drives me crazy, and the menthol effect can freeze a polar bear. The matching balm and witch hazel are equally cold with the same scent, and such A-1 post-shave care. Seriously, I can't wait for my recently-purchased Stirling order to arrive because it has back-ups for the Glacials for me. ;) :D

Wishing everyone a nice weekend in advance! :)
