Had such an awesome weekend!
We went to Geek'd Con in nearby Shreveport. "A celebration of all things Geek"

2 There were comic books,witty t-shirts, toys, video games, a 3d printer, an occulus rift

, celebrities, people in costumes, people practically
not in costumes

, and just about anything else you could think of that would be described as part of "Geek Culture."
I even got to meet one of my inspirations, the voice of Wakko Warner! I told him how my half-passable impression of him in high-school probably kept me out of more than a few fights, and so he asked me to do it for him. (I bet he listens to a thousand bad impressions a day at these things), but he was kind enough to tell me that "It was more than passable" and "if anything should ever prevent {him} from working as Wakko,{I} would be the guy to call!"
I know he was just being kind, but it was still a cool thing to hear from a childhood hero.
